Attending the SDGbergen20 Conference

I am attending the #SDGbergen20 conference at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 5th to 7th February 2020, which is designed around Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17 on Partnerships. It is clear that Makerere and other African universities must increase partnership with Government and the private sector if we are to have the expected impact on poverty reduction.

I have highlighted the contribution Makerere University is making to help achieve the SDGs. I have underscored the importance of local and international partnerships.
