CoVAB, Göttingen, Khartoum Launch MAP EVOLUTION Project

The College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Biosecurity (CoVAB), Makerere University in collaboration with the University Medical Center of Göttingen and the University of Khartoum on Monday 11th March 2019 launched the Molecular evolution Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis in Africa project (THE MAP EVOLUTION PROJECT).

The Principal Investigator (PI), Prof. Dr. Claus Peter Czemy and his Co-PI Dr. Kamal Eltom from the University of Khartoum, Dr. Ahmad Amanzada and Prof. Dirk Raddatz from the University Medical Centre of Göttingen as well as Dr. Okuni Julius Boniface and Prof. Ojok Lonzy from CoVAB successfully applied for the grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG)
