Published

on

The Academic Registrar, Makerere University invites applications from suitable candidates FROM UGANDA for fully funded PhD scholarships in Engineering for the 2022/2023 Academic Year tenable in the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT).

The scholarships are part of a partnership between Makerere University and King’s College London under the Association of Research Universities in Africa (ARUA) PluS Alliance. With a particular focus on Engineering, the scholarships also seek to facilitate close working relations with industry in order to build research and innovation ecosystems within universities – including training in commercialization and knowledge transfer. It is expected that upon graduation, the students would contribute towards frameworks for technological innovation and sustainable development in Africa.
