Makerere University has received funding from Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) under the Makerere–Sida Bilateral Program Phase III. Part of this funding is to support five (5) candidates for PhD study programmes.
Applications are now invited from eligible female members of staff of Makerere University to undertake PhD degree programmes in both humanities and sciences offered at Makerere University beginning in 2010/2011 Academic Year. The scholarship will cover Tuition fees, functional fees and Research/Field work only. The fund will be managed by the Gender Mainstreaming Division in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies, Makerere University.
Deadline:
Duly completed applications with physical contact address, University Unit of work, personal telephone and email should reach the Gender Mainstreaming Division Office on or before Tuesday 12th October 2010 by 5.00 pm.
