Reminder on Students Registration Sem 1 2014-15

The University Management has noted with concern that a number of students have failed to pay fees and not registered for Semester I, 2014/2015 Academic year.

All students are therefore reminded that registration for Semester I, 2014/2015 which started on Wednesday 3rd September, 2014 at the respective
Colleges/Schools, will end on Friday 14th November, 2014 as directed by the University Council at its132nd Meeting.

The Cycle for online registration is still open. You can register from any computer where there is internet connectivity up to Friday 14th November, 2014.
Once registered, each student will be able to print the financial statement which shall be used as evidence of payment of fees. Thereafter, Examinations Permits for Semester
One Examinations, 2014/2015 Academic year will be issued.

College Registrars should provide students with guidelines/Instructions for registration and handle all registration related matters.
NOTE:
No student will be allowed to register for this semester (Semester I 2014/15) after 14th November, 2014 and students who will not have registered by this date will not be considered to be University students.

Aptitude Exam (Paper 1) Results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme 2026/2027

The Office of Academic Registrar, Makerere University has released Aptitude Test Examination results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme Examinations held on Saturday 13th December 2025.

The Candidates who scored 50% and above in the aptitude test passed the aptitude examination and will have their programme -specific examination paper marked. Those who scored less than 50% failed.

The Academic Registrar, Makerere University invites applications for admission to Graduate Programmes (Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and Doctoral Degree Programmes) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Applicants should have obtained at least a first or second class degree (or its equivalent) from a Chartered University at the time of completion. Applicants should also possess a Uganda Certificate of Education (or its equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (or its equivalent).

Sponsorship:

All Graduate Programmes are PRIVATELY-SPONSORED. Therefore, applicants seeking sponsorship should have their applications endorsed by their respective sponsors where applicable. Applicants should note that the various fees payable to the University indicated for the various programmes EXCLUDE functional fees, accommodation, books, research and other expenses.
