The Child Health and Development Centre of the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, received a grant from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen research capacity in Uganda. The project Quality Medicine Use for Children in Uganda is a 5- year multi-disciplinary collaboration that is devoted to improving the quality of medicine use and management for children in Uganda through research and research training.
Within the collaboration, there is one scholarship for Masters Degree in social sciences and one for Masters in Public Health (Health Policy, Planning and Management).
Applications are invited for the academic year 2011/2012 from suitably qualified Ugandans for these scholarships at Makerere University
Applicants should be currently working, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in health services or health research institution.
Application Procedures:
Enrolment in a relevant Masters training program at Makerere University must be for the academic year 2011/2012. Candidates must submit their written application together with: –
