Topic: Prevalence and susceptibility profiles of Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli and Salmonella in dairy farms in Mukono District, Uganda.

Presenter: Dr. Sylvia Angubua Baluka

The study assessed the prevalence and antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of Campylobacter jejuni, E. coli and Salmonella. Repeated cross sectional studies were conducted over a period of one year. Samples were collected from 33 selected dairy farms from Mukono district. A total of 184 samples (57, 65, and 62 milk, fecal and environmental samples respectively) were collected.
