A Turning Point for African Economies-eLA14 Report

eLearning Africa; the largest and most comprehensive knowledge sharing event for technology-enhanced education and training on the African continent held its 2014 edition eLA14 in Kampala Uganda. Hosted by the Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of ICT and supported by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), the successful event brought together stakeholders from Education, ICT, Governments, the civil society, policy makers and leading corporations from the region all over the world.

The five-day conference which ran from 26th to 30th May 2014 hosted the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda H.E. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi who officially launched the eLearning Africa Report 2014. The eLearning Africa Report provides a yearly snapshot of progress and perspectives in the field of technology-enabled learning across the continent.

Diploma Holders Admission Lists under Government Sponsorship for 2026/2027 AY

The Office of Academic Registrar, Makerere University has released lists of Diploma holders admitted under the Government Sponsorship Scheme for the Academic Year 2026/2027.

Under the Diploma Holders Government Sponsorship Scheme admission does not exceed 5% of the intake capacity to the respective Degree Programme.

Mature Age Examination Results for 2026/2027 Academic Year

The Office of Academic Registrar, Makerere University has released results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme Examinations held on Saturday 13th December 2025.

Candidates who scored a minimum of 50% passed and have been recommended by the Pre-Entry & Mature Age Committee to the University’s Admissions Committee for consideration.

The Aptitude Exam (Paper 1) results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme 2026/2027 can be accessed by following this link.
