MSc Scholarships - Increasing Access to Freshwater Biodiversity Data in Uganda

The Botany-Zoology Quadrangle, College of Natural Sciences (CoNAS), Makerere University, Kampala Uganda

The Department of Zoology, Entomology, and Fisheries Sciences (ZEFS), Makerere University is partnering with the National Fisheries Resources Research Institute (NaFIRRI) to implement a project aimed at increasing access to freshwater biodiversity data in Uganda. To make the outcomes of this project sustainable, and aid data mobilization and sharing in future, the project implementing partners intend to build capacity of young and highly ambitious and motivated graduate students in data mobilization, data use and data publication workflows.

Number of positions: Three (3) are available, one for each of the thematic areas: Phytoplankton, Invertebrates and Fish
