UMN's Prof. Samuel Mukasa Presents on STEM in Africa

Prof. Samuel Mukasa, the University of Minnesota (UMN) Senior Executive for Global STEM Initiatives , with a particular interest in focusing on Africa delivers his presentation on 26th March 2019, CEDAT Conference Hall, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda.

On 26th March 2019, Prof. Samuel Mukasa, the University of Minnesota (UMN) Senior Executive for Global STEM Initiatives, visited the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) and delivered a presentation with the aim of attracting potential STEM graduate students to study in the USA.  

Prof. Mukasa who works in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, UMN in his presentation showed the need for more scientists knowledgeable in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Africa because of the high fertility and population growth rates.
