Makerere University has showcased some of its innovative masterpieces during the URA Tax Payers Appreciation Exhibition (26th to 28th September 2018) at Kololo Independence Grounds.
Competently represented by the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology; the School of Food Technology and Bio-Systems Engineering/ Food Technology Business Incubation Centre; Makerere University Infectious Diseases Institute; ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) and Makerere University Business School (MUBS), the respective University teams have presented to the public; innovative research and products developed by students and staff with the aim of solving community problems.

Over 100 companies are participating in the exhibition. The exhibition under the theme: Stronger Together, is intended to give a platform to government agencies, ministries a with a golden opportunity to provide accountability to the Ugandan tax payer and the general public.

Makerere University is a public funded institution that has come up with a number of developments and innovations in teaching and learning, research, community outreach, knowledge transfers partnerships and networking.
