Organised by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, the Marathon is aimed at encouraging adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies for workers at the Work place.

Extension of Semester II 2018/2019 Academic Year

The Senate at its 164th Meeting received and considered a request from Colleges and the Students Guild for recovery of lost time due to the effects of the Industrial Action by staff at the
beginning of Semester II 2018/2019 Academic Year.

Senate discussed the matter and agreed that the School of Law, College Veterinary Medicine Animal Resources and Biosecurity and some selected Programmes from the College of Humanities
and Social Sciences could adjust their teaching and examinations time tables by two (2) weeks within the Recess Semester.

5th CLE Moot Court Before Judges at the High Court, 25th April 2019, 2:00pm - 5:00pm, Kampala Uganda

On Thursday, 25th April 2019, Law students in the Clinical Legal Education (CLE) Program will conduct a moot Court before Judges at the High Court of Uganda from 2:00 to 5:00 p:m.

The Moot Court will be presided over by a number of Judges that include; The Deputy Chief Justice of Uganda, Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo, Justice Geoffrey Kiryabwire, Justice Olive Kazzarwe and Justice Lydia Mugambe.

Which one are you?” Daniel Choudry asked his audience. “The reason people will give all excuses as to why they can’t do or achieve something and end up blaming everything around them including their parents, but can’t blame themselves. The result people are those who have an “I CAN” internal dialogue and see the opportunities and possibilities in everything,” he further explained.
