Makerere University College of Health Sciences in partnership with AGNF Germany and the European Resuscitation Council, with Support from Hospital Partnerships, is organizing training of the Advanced Life Support (ALS) course, that will offer internationally recognized certification.

The Course will take place in January 2020. A promotional fee of UGX100,000 per participant is currently available.

I have opened the 1st Kings of Africa University Rugby Sevens at the Makerere Impis Rugby Grounds also known as "The Graveyard". I have welcomed to Makerere University the ten participating teams from Botswana, Kenya, South Africa and Uganda.

I was delighted to receive Professor Peter Anyang' Nyong'o, a Makerere University alumnus, Governor for Kisumu County and prominent International personality. We shared pleasant memories and discussed Makerere’s future. Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o was Guild President 1969/70. I showed him a portrait of his cabinet in my office.
