RE: DULY ELECTED GUILD REPRESENTATIVE COUNCILLORS (GRCS) 2020/2021
On 12th November, 2021 the Guild Electoral Commission (EC) organised GRC elections at Twenty Two (22) School Constituencies that were opposed and at Eight (8) Halls of residence that were contested. The physical elections went on successfully while the online elections were postponed to 13th November, 2021 due to serious technical difficulties. Please refer to our letter MAK/EC/019/21 dated 12th November, 2021. The online elections were successfully re-conducted on 13th November, 2021 and a tally for both physical and online elections was duly conducted by the EC at the Guild Offices on the same night. On 16th November, 2021 the EC successfully conducted the election for representatives for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Resultantly, we hereby present to all Makerereans the duly elected GRCs for all Makerere University Constituencies for the 2020/2021 term of leadership.
