The Flycatcher is a US-based online story journal that features works from famous poets, writers and creative artists from all over the world.

The January 2013 Edition of the journal featured The Story of Hare and Luhwara, a folktale from the Madi Community of Uganda compiled by Dr. Dominica Dipio and Narrated by Owo Patrick. Derived from the oral tradition of story telling, the compilation is one of Dr. Dipio's works among the Madi community, another being In their own voices: The Madi of Uganda, a 44minute film. She has also worked on other titles like The Heart of Masabaland (17mins) and her fast full-length (62mins) feature, Crafting the Bamasaba

According to a statement on the Journal's website, Flycatcher through writing and visual art, strives to explore what it means—or what it might mean—to be native to this earth and its particular places, especially during today's modern and fast-paced style of living.
