Interaction With SMART24 TV Station

Published

on

I interacted with Smart24 Television with an update on what we are doing at Makerere University. Apart from retaining our staff and graduate Clinical students in hospitals to support the Ministry of Health, we are currently in touch with global partner Universities studying the new novel Coronavirus to provide a solution as soon as possible.

A 16th March 2020 report by the World Economic Forum (WEF) looked at how university inventions are fighting COVID-19, and as a research University in Africa, we are always a priority on research collaborations in the face of global challenges like COVID-19.

We shall try to keep the country in the know of what we are doing at every stage.
