The 3rd RAN Innovation Fireplace | Friday September 20, 2019, 4:30 - 7:00pm, ResilientAfrica Network (RAN), Plot 28 House 30, Makerere University, Upper Kololo Terrace, Kampala Uganda

The ResilientAfrica Network (RAN), Makerere University, due to public demand, is thrilled to announce the 3rd installment of the Innovation Fireplace series. We invite you to join us by the fire at the RAN lab space, to hear the exciting stories and experiences of notable entrepreneurs!

This Innovation Fireplace, which will take place on Friday, September 20, 2019, will be centered on the theme “Business Un-usual". We will host a group of disruptive thinkers whose business ideas have challenged norms.

Our Innovation Fireplace events provide an opportunity to interface with notable entrepreneurs and managers of top brands! They are designed to inspire, educate and update you on the latest business trends.

Through events like these we provide a space for entrepreneurs, innovators, academics, technology enthusiasts, business owners, representatives from the public and private sector to connect, collaborate, think creatively and discuss pertinent issues that affect their businesses / their ventures.

There's no better place to learn, network and be inspired, than by a cozy fireplace.

Aptitude Exam (Paper 1) Results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme 2026/2027

The Office of Academic Registrar, Makerere University has released Aptitude Test Examination results for the Mature Age Entry Scheme Examinations held on Saturday 13^thDecember 2025.

The Candidates who scored 50% and above in the aptitude test passed the aptitude examination and will have their programme -specific examination paper marked. Those who scored less than 50% failed.

The Academic Registrar, Makerere University invites applications for admission to Graduate Programmes (Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and Doctoral Degree Programmes) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Applicants should have obtained at least a first or second class degree (or its equivalent) from a Chartered University at the time of completion. Applicants should also possess a Uganda Certificate of Education (or its equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (or its equivalent).

Sponsorship:

All Graduate Programmes are PRIVATELY-SPONSORED. Therefore, applicants seeking sponsorship should have their applications endorsed by their respective sponsors where applicable. Applicants should note that the various fees payable to the University indicated for the various programmes EXCLUDE functional fees, accommodation, books, research and other expenses.
