First session of the Pedagogical Skills Training ends: participants awarded certificates

One of the participants receiving a certificate from the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ernest Okello Ogwang.

The first session of the Pedagogical Skills Training for Makerere University Assistant Lectures has successfully ended with 35 participants from the College of Natural Sciences, College of Computing and Information Sciences, and the College of Business and Management Sciences awarded certificates.

The certificates were handed over to participants by the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ernest Okello Ogwang; at the closing ceremony of the first session of the training that was held on 25th July 2018 at Telepresence Centre.

On Wednesday 25th July 2018, the Vice Chancellor of Makerere University-Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe and the Ambassador of France-H.E Stéphanie Rivoal signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the Kampala Geopolitics Conference scheduled to take place on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October 2018 at Makerere University.

African Union Scholarships for the Masters Programme in Epidemiology

The Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) - a Specialized Technical Health Agency of the African Union, invites qualified candidates to apply for a full scholarship to undertake the full-time study in the Master of Science in Epidemiology degree programme at the University of the Witwatersrand’s School of Public Health.
