The Conference is being organized by the  International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), Uganda’s Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE), Makerere University Centre for Climate Change Research and Innovations (MUCCRI) and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD).

This was revealed during a Stakeholders Workshop on Payment review Mechanism:Internal Controls, Risk Management, Compliance and Governance held on Friday 16th June 2017 in the Main Hall.

Mak to Host 3rd World University Netball Championships 2018

The Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) in conjunction with Makerere University and the support of several stakeholders has won the bid to host the 3rd World University Netball Championships 2018. Uganda was awarded the hosting rights for the event scheduled to take place from 17th to 21st September 2018, beating Namibia, England and Jamaica.
