MUABSA Partners With UAA To Hold Science and Technology Public Dialogue

Hundreds thronged College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), Makerere University to participate in a public dialogue organised by the Makerere University Agribusiness Students’ Association (MUABSA) in partnership with Uganda Agribusiness Alliance (UAA).
The dialogue which took place on 29th March, 2017 under the theme “The role of Science and Technology in addressing Modern Agricultural Challenges”

On the 20th March 2017 the College of Computing and Information Sciences (COCIS), Makerere University hosted Mr. Paul Maritz (Former VP of Microsoft and CEO of VMWare). He got a tour of School of Computing and IT (SCIT) facilities (i.e. lecture rooms, computer labs etc.) and visited ongoing projects e.g. WIMEA-ICT project, Software Systems Center (SSC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab, Microsoft Incubation Lab etc.
