New Mak Students’ Electoral Commission Starts Work

The newly Makerere University Students’ Electoral Commission together with the Deputy Dean of Students of Makerere University, Mr. Stephen Kateega and some of the members of the Caretaker Guild Government.

The new Makerere University Students’ Electoral Commission started its work by holding several meetings and consultations with key stakeholders in the University. Sworn-in on 26th August 2016 in the Office of the Dean of Students, the five successful candidates vowed to serve the students’ fraternity diligently.

The Sworn-in Students’ Electoral Commission comprises the Chairperson- Isabirye Kenneth; Vice Chairperson-Nakazzi Hadijah; Secretary to the Commission-Bukamba Nelson; Commissioner for the Finance-Ahumuza Jerry; and Commissioner for Public Relations-Akenda Joshua.

Registration For Semester One, 2016/2017 Academic Year

(a) First Years

Every new student admitted to a programme of study of Makerere University was/will be issued a provisional admission letter with an invoice for payment of requisite fees.

This will enable privately sponsored first year students pay 60% tuition and all functional fees before issuance of original admission letters which should be collected from the respective Colleges/Schools.

Private Sponsorship Admission Lists for Diploma Applicants Academic Year 2016/2017
