MakSPH Summer Course on Innovation Design for Mak & University of Boston Students

The RAN Deputy Chief of Party, Dr. Roy William Mayega (Pointing) facilitates the Innovation Design session during the joint course between students from the University of Boston and Makerere University that ran from 2nd to 20th July 2019, ResilientAfrica Network (RAN), Plot 28 House 30, Upper Kololo Terrace, Kampala Uganda

The RAN team is facilitating a summer course on “Humanitarian Engineering; Designing solutions for health challenges in protracted crises; Case of Refugee communities”  for Students from the University of Boston and Makerere University. The course scheduled to run from 2nd to 20th July 2019, was organised by Makerere University School of Public Health in collaboration with RAN lab and the University of Boston. RAN is particularly delivering courses on innovation design, scaling, stakeholder engagement and pitching.  This is a joint course between students from the US and Uganda pursuing Biomedical Engineering, Masters in Disaster Management and Public Health. This promotes mutually beneficial interactions between the two great universities in research, community work and innovation.
