Call for Applications-ToT Course Didactics and Student Mentorship

Assoc. Prof. Fred Kabi, CAES (C) explains how the Earthworm Breeding Project works at the RIC4ACE Grants Call Launch, 13th August 2014, RAN, MakSPH, CHS, Kololo Offices, Kampala Uganda

Makerere University in collaboration with the University of Nairobi, Sokoine University of Agriculture and University of Copenhagen are implementing a project entitled

“Enhancing the quality of graduates of Agriculture to meet tomorrow’s food security challenges" (PREPARE-BSC project)

The overall objective is to enable the partner universities to develop competent relevant high level human resources within agriculture, veterinary science and related fields (hereafter referred to as agriculture) to address food security as part of socio-economic development needs of the societies in Eastern Africa The PREPARE- BSC project is funded by EU through ACP-EDULINK II program.

Target group: The targeted group includes junior, mid-career and senior academic staff in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Environment, Natural Sciences and Food Science.

How to apply: Send a written application indicating interest to participate, addressed to Assoc. Prof. Fred Kabi, the PREPARE-BSC Project team leader P.O. Box 7062, Makerere University, Kampala. Please indicate your qualification, department and teaching experience. All applications should be sent to charlesgalabuzi@gmail.com Copy to fred.kabi@gmail.com.

Deadline for receiving applications: All applications should be received by 26th September 2015. Selected participants will be contacted by e-mail before 28th September 2015.
